Our subscription services were accessed by 130.43 million monthly visitors from 61 countries across emerging markets, and over 4.08 million paying users subscribed to our subscription services, and downloaded over 37.62 million games, in September 2017. As a part of our in-house freemium business, we had 44.49 million downloads until September, 2017 in calendar year 2017 and 19.34 million downloads in calendar year 2016. 1] Nazara’s game and POKKT deliver more than 1.18 billion brand views for Parle-G in just two months!

April 12, 2019: POKKT, the leading smartphone advertising platform for mobile games in India and Southeast Asia along with Nazara, leading global gaming company, have recently underlined once again why mobile gaming is the future of digital advertising. POKKT and Nazara through this partnership delivered more than 1.18 billion in-game brand views for Parle-G – all within just two months!

To achieve the milestone, POKKT leveraged two of Nazara Technologies’ most popular games, Chhota Bheem Jungle Run and Motu Patlu Race. Parle-G biscuits were strategically used as in-game consumables in Chhota Bheem Jungle Run, while the brand logo was also used on various other game elements such as power-ups, banners, and surfers. Over a period of 2 months, this approach added over 884.5 million brand views for Parle-G.

Similarly, POKKT utilised splash, home screen displays, race start, banner/podium, as well as in-game elements such as mystery boxes, billboards, and mission completion to prominently showcase the Parle-G brand in Motu Patlu Race. This helped POKKT deliver almost 300 million brand views for Parle-G through in-game advertising in just two months.

2] March 18, 2019: Nazara Technologies Ltd., India’s leading gaming company and Delta Corp Ltd. India based casino gaming company, together invest INR 40 Crores as part of Series-A funding round in HalaPlay, an online Daily Fantasy Sports platform.

Halaplay is a real money based daily fantasy sports platform. HalaPlay launched in 2017, has seen an explosive growth in the user base and total transactions since then. HalaPlay has in the past received investment from Nazara Technologies, Kae Capital, Angel List and other angel investors and is currently set to be the second largest Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) platform in India. Halaplay has seen 10x user growth in the last 12 months and will exponentially grow with over 1 crore active players to play in upcoming cricket season.

3] Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan inspires Nazara’s new mobile game ‘Chhota Bheem Swachh Bharat Run’

India, January 25, 2019 – One of India’s leading mobile gaming company, Nazara Technologies Limited (Nazara), today announced the launch of their new game ‘Chhota Bheem Swachh Bharat Run’. The game is inspired by honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. This is a part of Nazara’s ‘Play4Good’ Initiative wherein a mobile game is being used to educate young children with good values to keep their surroundings clean.

In the game, the main character and also the super hero for millions of children, Chhota Bheem, races to clean up the streets and areas across different cities of India and collects all the trash in nearby dumping zones. The game has a daily and weekly contests with inbuilt leaderboards and contest winners will become part of the Swachh Bharat Army inspired by Shri Narendra Modi. Members of Swachh Bharat Army will receive exciting merchandise. Chhota Bheem is setting up an example to other children to follow his lead and is taking the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan message forward to the children of India.
